This one day course for auditors provides an opportunity to learn the necessary skills to transition their existing knowledge of the planning, conducting and reporting of an audit of an Information Security Management System that is compliant with ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
Based on an anticipated publish date of October 2022 we anticipate classes will be running from November
This course covers the following topics:
- The purpose of ISO 27001 and ISO 27002
- Summary of the changes to ISO 27001 and ISO 27002
- Auditing the new, the merged and the renamed controls
- Auditing an upgraded ISMS
Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to
Understand the control and control purpose changes from ISO/IEC 27001:2013 to ISO/IEC 27001:2022
Conduct an audit of an ISMS that includes controls selected from ISO/IEC 27002:2022
The Auditor Transition SO 27001:2022 course is intended for those with a pre-existing knowledge of ISO 27001:2013 and experience in information security management system auditing.
This ISO 27001:2013 Standard has been updated and released for 27001:2022 as such there are changes to Annex A that will impact auditors and how they audit a management system for conformance.
