As a SQF Practitioner this course will assist in determining the requirements of the SQF code which will assist in its implementation and certification. If you are responsible for maintaining SQF certification then this course is a must.

This course covers the following topics:

  1. Introduction to SQF
  2. Preparing for SQF Certification
  3. SQF Certification Process
  4. SQF System Elements
  5. Good Manufacturing Practices

Prior attendance at a two or three day HACCP course is recommended.

  • A laptop / desktop (min 4GB memory) with a webcam.
  • Headset with microphone.
  • A hard-wired broadband/ADSL Internet connection is strongly recommended.
    • Minimum bandwidth: 4Mbps download & 2Mbps upload.
    • Note: VPN connections should be disabled as they may interfere with Virtual Platform connectivity.
  • Firewall requirements:
    o TCP: 80, 443, 8801, 8802. UDP: 8801 & 8802
    o Remote labs: 3389 TCP (RDP protocol).

Administrative permissions to install the Zoom plugin.

On successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing – Edition 9.
  2. Create a knowledge base to facilitate the successful implementation of an SQF system
  3. Show how a HACCP based approach manages food safety and quality hazards in an operation

Upon completion of course, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attendance.

An optional exam is available following the SQF course via the SQF web site. Exam fee US$75.

This course is non-accredited.
